Take every piece of wet weather gear you own, buy a beanie and gloves and consider snow chains!!! Take some summer clothes too. Justin case. lol

When are you going there? I'm only 150k's away.

There's
whale world
the big windmills near the prison,
no traffic lights so brush up on your indicating at roundabouts. Rumour has it that whereever the town planner put his coffee and a coffee ring appeared on the map, that's where the roundabout went. lol

I'll do a bit of homework and get back to you.

Damn, I'm gunna miss you!!!!

I'm off on a bit of a tour too. Heading from my place to Esperance (400k), turn left and head north to Norseman (200k), spend a couple of nights there and head home.

Yes, yes, I know. Plenty of pics. I'm recharging my camera as you read. lol

Take care out there.

Please, please be careful on the road

Freo to Albany and back in the one day is a lot of driving! If you're not used to long distance driving, it'll knock you around.

Fatigue is one of the biggest killers on Albany Highway.

I'm amazed by the amount of white crosses on the side of the road. Unfortunately, they're everywhere.

From memory, it's about 830k return, plus, all the running around you'll be doing.

Enjoy! There's lots to see and do. At least you'll get a taste of what's on offer.

Take care out there.

What part of WA are you visiting?

When I get back next week, I'll sit down and make a list of things to do in WA. I had one made up before but, doh, I didn't save it. I'm sick of typing the same sheet over and over. I'll get it together one day and remember to save my stuff. lol

Take care out there.

Shush... you'll wake the Sandgropers and then there'll be Hell to pay.

They've only just got back to sleep after bleating about Perth getting Sunday Trading from this August.

hmmmm thanks for the HIJACK lol anyway after a bad morning as my wife and kids are not morning ppl we started on our trip down south, after heading down the ALBANY HWY for a couple of ours and seeing heaps of dead fox's hoping i would clean one up and thinking if i did where would i get a knife to skin the thing.............hmmm lost track we arrived in Albany, so we set of to the Whale world after taking the wrong turn and ending up at cable beach we took some great pics and headed back to Whale world, we got there and paid the 57 bucks and set of exploring the old facilities, it was fun and interesting to see how it all worked and watching the kids in the 3D movie ducking from the whales was amusing, so after 2hrs we called it quits and headed off in the rain we went to the blow holes but it was packed with heaps of tourist so thought that we would leave it for another day. yes we will be back sad it was only a day trip but well worth the effort kids had fun and the wife had some fun and got the K's up. still thinking of those fox's might have to go for a drive and whistle one up and knock it over with the bow.......... here are some pics
