Hi all! This is my first post in the forums so here we go!

First up I have to say that I am not the most mechanically minded person in the world but I know a little and if shown can get the job done. I have just bought my first 4X4 and its a GUIII SL. I introduced myself and was told allot and read heaps about getting NADS fitted. I want to start well cheaply for now so a catch can and boost gauge are on the cards.

What type (brand) should I be looking at? Do they come with everything I need to install them? I don't want it to look cheap so one that lights up and looks nice would be worth paying for.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Hang tight mate, someone will be along with some info to assist. Have a search also in the meantime, as there's a heap of threads on here for gauges etc.

Good luck with it, and well done on the first mechanical post!! You slaughtered it!! Too easy!!

Hi mate, have a look int he vendors section. There should be a listing for someone who sells the Autometer combo gauges which will come with both the EGT and boost gauges.

They come with everything you need and instructions on how to install them. Very easy DIY job mate and price is good.

Yell out if you need any help with installing it though.

Stewart Warner and if it's a 3lt you need a 0-30psi or 4.2 its a 0-15psi. There are a few mobs bringing them into oz but I got mine from summit racing. They are not cheap but bloody good and they don't suffer from the low boost rattle.

They do boost gauges as well
l went with a cheap catch can but now wish i had spent a few extra dollars on a provent one.

Mate, any name brand guage will do the job. Just ask the suplier exactly as you did here. Auto meter is all the rage with anyone under 40 years old, but, VDO is just as good, as is any well established and trusted name. Me, I'm looking for Smith Guages.

Not sure about these, I have heard of some people using them,

They look pretty interesting though

I should have looked at 97_GQ_LWB's ebay link, it's the same gauge, although it seems cheaper to get direct from Auberins.

Awesome gauges, bonus is, they're cheap as well. I really like the option of storing peak values, don't fancy looking at "bouncing analog needles."
Cheers

Mate, I finally bit the bullet and ordered the Pyro and Boost bundled sets from them, they seem like a good thing and will post an install/performance write up when they come.
