The GQ seem to be the popular of the older lot of Patrols with about 70+ owners

Yeah, it was the best thing a mate told me about,
had fun with it for 6 years before let rego run out and now a good help around the 5 ac for last few years.
only paid 5grand then so couldnt sell her,

And it may well get some more TLC and get its ass back on the road, because this site is a great motivator,
just gotto find the time.

June 17th 2010 my love affair started with the current GQ, but my second car when I was 18 was a near new 1990 GQ tray back on dual fuel . Loved them ever since (and I've had two GU's also in the interim).

Started my love affair 11th November 2010 (i think) ....... and reckon it'll be a keeper for a long time to come, unless something really drastic happens.

Bought my old girl back in March of 2004, I was the 2nd owner she had 110 thou on the clock, we have seen 3/4 of this great country together, done about 347 thou now, and I rebuilt the donk at about 345. if you look after them, they serve you well!

Since new in 91. Well my parents bought it when I was 4 and I inherited it around 4 years ago now.

i bought my GQ in 2003, at the time it had full Alloy bar work front and sides and the suspension was so low i could not crawl under it (i was much skinnier then too ;) )

That was then and i thought a 2" lift would be awesome with a set of 33" All Terrains that i fitted to it straight away was the ducks guts!!! Hell Yeah!!

Its now worth about the same as i paid for it in 2003 but the list is really really LONG!

Fell in love with my GU 26 months ago and will still have it when I peg out, have bought a new van for work
so I don't kill the Big Girl with the 100k plus per year we do Piloting.
