Well you all are prob over hearing from me of late  but, I am now trying to decide the best plan of attack on cutting out this rust, you will see a rough line I have scratched in the floor and have included some under shots too, should I cut the whole peice out, make it to folow the under chassy (for easy welding) or make two sections? I need to the whole length along the door getting as close as I can to the side (lots of small rust holes)

Cheers Michelle

A guy at work rekons he cut out his rust then fibreglassed the new piece in, bit of bog and paint, and it will never rust again!

Just a thought

Cheers!

Wouldn't the fiberglass crack due to vibration and body flex??

I'll be watching this thread with interest Michelle, as you know have the same issue myself. Thinking of cutting the donor body part and sticking it on the body I want. All I need is someone with the kit I can borrow, and the knowledge to teach me LOL.
Dunno bout fiberglass though, reckon there could be issues there..
Michelle, post pics please of the progress and I'll do the same and see who does the biggest hash of it, money is on me LOL
