Family Friendly Gymkhana Competition @ The Springs 4X4 Park

We are currently accepting registrations for our upcoming Gymkhana.

Two Classes (Mens & Ladies)

Within this competition we are happy to have club vs club or forum vs fourm, this is an easy, entry level event.
A
ll stages have been prepared to suit all 4X4s with a strong emphasis on fun!
This organised event is looking to be a great weekend at The Springs 4X4 Park.

Three Round Series.
1st Round | 3rd – 4th March 2012
2nd Round | 30th June – 1st July 2012
3rd Round | 15th September – 16th September 2012

Winners will be announced at the end of the event. Scores will be tallied over the course the rounds and an overall series winner will be announced at the end of the competition.
Competitor Entry Fees $100.00*per vehicle / per round (includes Park entry and camping from Friday Afternoon till Sunday Afternoon)
*If Co-Driver comes in a separate car, they will be charge standard park entry fees.
*Cars entered more than once incur an additional fee of $40.00 per entry.
(Eg. Husband enters then Wife enters same car.)

You don’t have to enter every round, just come along to the ones that you can make it to.
Please feel free to email the park at for entry forms, information and rules.

All Entries need to submitted two prior the event to avoid disappointment. We will accept late entries subject to availability.

All Payments accepted on the day.

Sunday also saw the egg & spoon challenge, passenger had to hold a egg on a spoon while the car drove around the bumpy track, at the end, you had the option to eat the raw egg for extra points.

Looks and sounds like it was an awesome weekend. Just a little bummed I missed my girls first comp (sharee) with my sister as the co-driver. The springs always seem to put on quality events and is well and truly run by high quality people. It seems sharee has listened well to her teachings :P lol. Hopefully i will be off work for the next round and be able to meet all these top people that sharee has been telling me about. And maybe compete see if i can beat her (may have to let her win) Good people seem are hard to find these days seems we like there were a good few in one spot at the same time.

Definetly Deb had a good crack at Beer O'clock Hill!!! Was great to see :) Too bad one of her CV's went, she was so determined! I think I may be still half deaf from taking her up with me :D

Thanks mate - I've started taking the actual unit out of the truck to video with - no zoom, etc, but keeps it all comparable ...

I have a video where I walked up the BIL to video the angle (yep, need to post it), and I reckon it's close to 50+ degrees - certainly 45 or more as you'll see ... bloody steep, with a nice rung of rock steps in the middle (that you have to stick the boot in just to get to as the track is shaley, dusty crappola ...) - little wonder they keep it closed off unless they're in attendance ...
