Yer we got it going and it continued the rest of the day.. But don't know what the long term affect's would be after that much mud in the motor.. It also had a few light's on the dash that are not normally lit up LOL

poor girl, i know the feeling. I've swamped my 4.5 GU, opened the doors to let the water out and away I went. Still going after 10 years.

Gee it went pop quick!!! Damn! It looks like she was going pretty fast but still i would have thought a bow wave in the front would have kept it out of the front guard for much longer than that! A very surprising Video to be honest....

Did she actually get any water in the engine or was it just starved of Air for a split second causing the pop and white smoke? it went black pretty much straight away so it may have just had a suction issue.

If she has not stripped the carpet out yet it must STINK by now.

Not a good way to treat a beautiful TD42T.....Damn!

I don't think I can comment without flaming that driver.. such a waste of a Patrol.

However, your Troll is tops Lewy! Love that little clip.

I trust a snorkel is high on the priority list now?

Did the same thing. Took the glowplugs out, wound it over, glowplugs back in and away she went. Havnt had any dramas with it but I didnt have any lights come on either. Hope it still lives.
