G'day all. I seem to have a problem with a sticky locker. My patrol is fitted with the standard factory locker but only works when it wants to. Normaly there is no problem but it refuses to engage once you are in a obstacle. Any advise.......My long term goal is to ad a ARB locker to the front and back :harhar:

The solenoids used to operate the factory locker are known to fail, usually from lack of use.
It may take a few meters for the gears to line up before the mechanism will lock up fully, if yours is still not locking you may have either insufficient vacuum to the vacuum actuator or there could be a mechanical problem in the diff centre.

Thanks YNOT. I will have a look at that.

my friends GQ had an issue when the vacuum hose was no longer clamped properly we used utilux clips and now he doesn't have a problem.

Also look at your rubber hoses. But the main culprit is the solenoid. They tend to stick if not used in a while.
