Butterfly on Air Controller

Are you able to suck air through the vacuum pipe to the Air Controller Butterfly or not ???

Ive never tried it before old briney but just wondering why do you want to do this? To check if the controllers working or something else?

i was checking for vacuum leaks in the lines, (re: early post HI EGT's) & notice that i was able to blow through this line and none of the others
