Hi,

The walnut trimmings on the doors are scratched and sort of worn out.
How do I remove these and how do I repair them, thus bringing them back to life.

depends on your model mate? is it a GQ or GU? is it just worn in the clear coat or the wood grain finish is worn through?

If its a GQ then you may find the parts you need from a wrecker. If its a GU then a wrecker is the go too.

If its just the clear coat then take them off and ask the local panel beater to refinish them. If its the wood grain then find some more or go to an air brush guy and see if he can match them up.

When in doubt ring a few local panel beaters or call your local dealer and ask them who does their work. Take the car in and they will likely strip it all off and sort them out for you. The guy the dealer uses will probably come to you and do it all on the car.

When i bought the GUIV all the Silver was worn and the dealer had all the parts resprayed before delivery.

Hope that helps
