This was a couple of weeks back now. Absolutely perfect day at the beach.
First look at how my Patrol went on the beach.
As you can see the water was like a swimming pool, dead calm.
Had the flick rods out. Caught plenty of whiting and brim.

Going around those rocks was a bit of fun. Had to wait until the tide wen out then gun it through.

Nice spot it is for sure.
Lost count of the number of 4bys that get stuck going around the rock, saves quite a few k's tho, just need to sit back for a while and watch the tide.
The beach turns to quicksand very often right in front of the rock.

Nice pics.

I get really nervous seeing soft sand, but I am getting better. lol.

I'm more confident with the more psi's that I let down. lol

Take care out there.

It's not the soft sand that's a worry, it's the soft salty runny stuff ya worry about!! eh, Rosco?
Cheers, the ferret.

Hahah Paul, was a last minute trip with a mate. But we should definitely head out some time :)

Yeah Ferrett that rock is a killer, as you said, sit and wait for the right time to move. Cant rush these things.

It can grab ya fer sure, make no bones about that.
I wish I had taken pics of the dozens of vehicles pulled out of there, from old bunkys ta plash landcrabs, some folk have no idea.
Cheers, the ferret.

Went awesome in the beach mate. Didn't miss a beat! Unbelievable the difference between the Patrol and my old Surf hahaha
