Spare Wheel smaller

Hey guys, I've just noticed that the spare tyre on the Patrol i got not long ago is a smaller size than the main four. Four are 275/70 R16 and spare is 265/70 R16. What effect will this have if I have to use it in an emergency?

dont run it on the back or your will get Diff Windup if your LSD is even half good. If you have to fit it to the front.

Never fit it in 4wd or you could do some damage. Better to chase a crappy 275 to match your car than carry that thing around bud.

Go to a second hand tyre dealer and try to swap it if it's half decent.

thought i would add this, even though a bit late, but a bit of info from when i had to use the spare on my ss... because i used the spare being standard size and having low profile tyres and rims it affected my circumfrence which in turn triggered my abs light to come on!!! it turned off after the new one was put back on but the car didnt like it!!!
