View Full Version : GU Body to Chasis mounts

Hey does anyone know where i can buy body to chasis mounts from as my front right has broken and need to replace them i can find heaps of GQ ones but the GU ones are different and also should i jus replace them all and do a cab lift and will i have to do any mods to existing gear

I would at least do them as a pair but doing all of them would be better.

I'm not a fan of body lifts as it puts too much strain on the mount and does not raise the chassis. GU's have big wheel arches so don't need the extra clearance of a body lift to fit bigger tyres. You would also need to modify bullbar, rear bar, and slider mounts to suit the raised body, as well as the usual fuel and brake lines, steering shaft, air intake ducting, etc etc. And if you have airbags forget it, body lifts not allowed.

Stuff that sounds like to much trouble i will just replace with standard i have sent a request to nizzbits just waiting on a reply thanks for the info mate.
