g'day lads i recently bought a egr blocking plate off the ferret and was wondering what blocking the exhaust gas recirculation actually achieves? can this damage my engine? i was speaking to a bloke from WEST END DEISEL and he said that it should not be blocked. my thoughts are if you are getting colder air then this in turn would cause more combustion causing more heat, is this right? please if someone could let me know that would be grouse cheers......

Mate, have a read of this, I must add that this is not my work but another member's.
If you really want to preserve your engine, you should do all the "NADS"
Thankyou for buying the plate from me too.
Cheeers, the ferret.
