I would love it to be monthly mate but that killed me doing this for only a small little magazine/newsletter.

If I could run this forum full time then I would be able to produce some amazing magazines and information but with a full time job, family and working on the property I can only do so much unfortunately...(insert sad face here...lol)

I'll just have to work on new issues as the time comes and see how long each one takes.

I don't want to commit to monthly and they don't come out each month, thats all..LOL

Also, the other idea to this (always a catch) is later on having them only accessible to forum sponsors as an extra benefit and to promote more sponsorship so we'll see how we go...

fantastic work there AB, certainly looks like a lot of work went into it.................... how about making it into a quarterly thing, as opposed to monthly or bi-monthly as was suggested earlier.
Definitely a great little aid you can print off and keep a copy for that rainy day......... could maybe print some off and pop them round 4x4 shops etc etc like the business cards

AB - I don't know if others share my view mate, but personally the effort that goes into producing one of these is not lost on me, and I'd be more than happy to pass over the bank account details for a direct debit (so it just goes out and I never miss it) for a couple of gold coins each month for something like this - I've no problem handing over $10 a month for a copy of 4wd Action and it's full of ads and other vehicle mods etc - this is only 27 pages, but it's specific to my interests (Nissan Patrol) and every page is of value. Me? Would happily fork out something like $3 or $4 a month to get these. You're not going to get thousands of downloads and retire, but even getting a couple of hundred a month at least covers a bit of your time away from the family (so they get to benefit at least also from the effort).

Yep. trip report and perhaps a bit of trip prep. eg things they would and wouldn't do again from the gear they took, truck fitout, side tracks. would depend on the individual's report.

Nah i am really impressed with the layout of the Fundamentals section that we are going to Print it AB and put those 8 pages on our Brand New Clubroom Wall.

Geelong 4wd Club has just secured Brand New Club rooms at Lovely Banks in Geelong. The building is Brand New and we are the first and Only tenant! Very Fortunate.

There is a heap of Pin board space and your layout will dominate a section of the wall forever. Great to see the Forum is the Footnote for every page. ;)
