does anyone know how to get the wheel guard plastic back to that nice black look?

mine are a bit weathered now

Don´t know if this question has been answered or not, just wanted to put my comment in if someone is searching for this.

On black plastic pieces that are not painted or covered with any material (you can stroke the piece, no not that one :) ) and if it has a little texture and is getting gray and faded it is most likely only plastic.

You can get your heat gun out and set it to low or medium and heat the plastic to get the oil back up on the surface. Just try it out on a small patch that is not in plain sight. Don´t heat it too much and don´t get to close with the gun.

After you have done this and let the plastic cool (only takes a few minutes) you can wax it and it will keep the color a little longer.

This has do be done around once a year or more often if you´r car sees a lot of sun.

Just be careful with the heat gun :)
