could i make a homemade body lift by cutting up a nylon pole and drilling holes through it. os that abit dodgy. it's just that the body lift kits seem so expensive for what they are.

Yes you can, lots of the kits are nylon anyway, they need to be 75mm minimum diameter tho.
75 mm nylon shaft does cost a bit too, depending on the grade.
Then you need to replace all the bolts for longer ones.
If you go to a turning shop, they often have off cuts of acetal or nylon, that's where I get mine but I also have a lathe.

just go to bcf and get boat rubbers they have a crush tube in them as well

is it legal to make ur own lift kit?

Boat rubbers? Can you give a bit more information? I am not sure what you are speaking of but I am interested to see if I can find something the same here in Canada for a 1" body lift.

So just take a straight roller and cut it down to the height I need? Sounds like a very good idea. Thanks again.
