Ok, I may get struck down by lightning posting this but would love your thoughts on this VT commo for the misses.

Her VP drives like a bucket of poo, diff about to blow, no AC for summer and about 20 other minor issues that I can't go into now..lol

Any thoughts on this beast would be appreciated!

Would obviously offer 5k max.

Just need a quick cheap family car before the VP finally gives up!

Mate, I don't really know what the going price is but to give you an idea I just sold my '02 VX II auto wagon for $3500 for quick sale with 170000k.
Redbook says VT exec auto $2300-$3800

Good luck

Yes, I wouldn't trust the figures on redbook too much.
Cars sell for what people think they're worth....

There's a few cheap ones out there but you might have to travel to get them

Andy wagons are worth little more than sedans. Looks tidy. What's the 6 months reg worth down there? It is thirteen years old. Check if any front wheel bearings have been done and if torque converter has been replaced yet. Torque converters go on them between 15000k and 20000ks. i'd try for $4900 if it was here.

My missus had a VT Acclaim which we sold to buy the Patrol, she still kicks me for doing that, was the best car she ever had, even better than her RX7.
Looks in good nick.

Not sure now.

Rung him up, all seemed good but no service history at all which worries me a bit.

He also is sticking to his 5.5k price unless he cracks and calls me back.

Back on the hunt again me thinks...lol

He is asking top dollar for he's car & without a service history thats a bloody big call (speedo's can be wound back on them thing) so all in all its now a 3k car all day.
