Yeah its a great old bus. completely standard apart from 33inch extreme trekkers (or centipedes or whatever they are called lol). only 220k on the clock too! plan some bar work, a cage and a lift (not too high as we like to go fast on the gravel too!)

Thats the wierd part.. It was only a flash, didnt even see it until we watched the video. cant figure out what its was from really. I think it must have been a bit of fuel backfiring out the exhaust because it went up-side-down.

The latest victim. 1987 Jeep Cherokee. 390 hemi V8 (tough) Completely "custom" lift ( spring over conversion plus 6x16mm plate chocks! dodgy) 33 inch "no grips"
Lift means nothing whentheres no traction tho!
Sitting on the diffs... we walked out at about 12:30pm lol i got my boots muddy, wouldnt have done that in a patrol. Got it with the tractor next morning.

Thats ugly. Its horrible driving past that stuff.

No one has ever been hurt at my place---no more than a scratch and bruise that is----and i try to keep it that way.
helmets on when we push it. and a nice soft grass paddock, "controlled area". Also most the mates that come up have grown up with bikes/cars/ etc. They usually push it untill they DO crash knowing that they're going to and exactly how far to push it until they do. its not stupidity, its a knowledgeable risk with a more than certain outcome.

Yeah the long wheelbase, only two inch lift and 33s either guts out or gets wedged on the tail going straight up. Plus, it's more fun getting crossed up:-)

Had another gathering up the paddock over the weekend. It was mainly 2wd and motor bikes so not much 4wding. One massive highlight was my mates daughter driving his GQ..... I thought it was him driving to start with. Very smooth and capable driver, it was great to see:) Good onya Tahlia!
