Hey All,

I was wondering if there are any rules/laws around the use of lights/spots on 4x4s?
Only been in the county for less than 3 years, and still dont understand why SA doesnt have roadworthiness test . . . . . . but thats a conversation for another thread . . . however it means i have no idea what the rules are.
Transport SA site is a bit poo, so that wasnt much help.
A friend told me that all spottys have to be wired into the high beam - is that right?

We bought second-hand bull bar with 2 sets of spots attached.
We just finished wiring one set up to an interior switch, and another set to go.

Any info gratefully received for a newby :)
PS - i'm also interested in what the rules are in other states too.

I know all driving lights are meant to be wired to only come on when on HI beam as for the numbers I think the limit is 4 but don't quote me on that.

There is also laws on the spacing of driving lights but your best bet is to speak to someone who does RWC's thay should have the right info for your state.

Cheers
Paul
