Hi Guys,
Thinking about buying a Roo system for my Nissan Patrol GUIV 2005 ZD3.0 auto, current k's 66,000 on the clock. I am using the patrol for towing a 2 ton caravan and will do very little or no 4X4 and I am hoping for better towing power and fuel economy. Roo system consists of a D-chip and a 3" SS exhaust sytem at a cost of $3,370.00 fitted.

Is this package worth $$$$ of out lay, I would appreciate feedback,,,,,,thanks

seems expensive you should be 1200 for the exhust you can get them from ebay for 800 and self install for 3" pipes cat and new mounts. So the D chip is 1100 seems expensive as there's a plug and play chip some guys here are using for 600 -700 from the uk so ebay special 2000-2100 and install yourself. If you're after the brand D-chip 2nd hand they go for 300 to 600 on ebay

We had these guys come and do a talk at our club awhile ago. And they guaranteed balanced power and fuel economy and workmanship. They also are not cheap grade chips they use.

maybe worth phoning Beaudesert exhaust as they are supplying 2.75" Mandrel bent turbo back system and Steinbauer Power Module for much less than this. can't remember exact cost around $1200 for exhaust and $1200-1500 for chip. my understanding is that the steinbauer was a more refined chip. may have changed recently.

PetroThe members at our club seemed to be keen on what was being offered. But they did only offer exhaust for my MK. with a bit of tinkering with boost etc. I already know what I need, and will be using Beaudesert exhaust when I am finally ready to go down that road. And Tony has offered to help me setting boost when I am ready.
