Just landed in the driveway, and I'm trying to clear the "honey-do" list so I can start working out what modifications I want/need to do.

It's a 2003 (GU III?) ST-L 3L TD auto with beige leather interior.

On the short list already:
Fix drivers rear flare (new clips)
Fix/replace spot lights (cracked lens, possibly replace with light bar)
Fit "anti-hand-grenade" kit
Fit pillar pods for pyro/boost gauge and dual voltage
Replace lights in front bar with LED

Will also be looking at a possible lift, new tyres, new 2 DIN stereo/GPS unit, cargo barrier, etc, etc, etc as funds allow.

Thanks for the link maphew - they look pretty good, so I might be placing an order soon myself. Was going to see what I could find at the 4WD show next weekend first, in case I can find a bargain there.

Been a productive weekend:
- Ordered new 2 DIN stereo/GPS/DVD/Bluetooth unit from Dig Options on eBay (well respected on PradoPoint forums, and seems to be extremely responsive with support queries).
- Fixed indicator in front bar (missing globe)
- Fixed spotlights (new globes). Still have one with a cracked lens that I need to find a replacement for.
- Cleaned up some of the wiring from an old mobile phone setup, and added a USB power socket for charging my phone.

Struggling to find LED replacements for the ARB/Nissan front bar lights. Anyone have any ideas?

- New stereo/DVD/satnav/reverse camera fitted (from Dig_Options on eBay) - awesome kit, came with the correct loom adaptor to suit the factor loom, antenna adaptor, reverse camera, etc.
- Fixed the flare (after spending $55 on clips @ Lander!). Lesson for next time is to use NizzBits and not rely on the parts counter staff to actually sell you the right parts in the right quantities. At least I have plenty of spares for next time.
- Autometer Ultra-Lite gauges ordered and on their way. Still need to buy a pillar pod and find someone to weld the nipples/bungs into the dump pipe and intake pipe.
- EGR blanking plate and worklite bracket ordered from Ferret & on it's way.
- Got an afternoon pass from the wife to go to the 4WD show with a mate, plus sons are coming along with spending money to buy dad a father's day present. :)

Been a productive couple of days!

Pics coming in the morning when I have some decent light. Flash in the car is just reflecting off everything right now.

Took about 3 hours all up, including feeding the cables through for the camera. At least 45mins of that was spent modifying the mounting brackets as the original ones don't fit and the supplied generic ones were too wide and hit the sub tank/rear demister switches.

Everyone loves pictures:

Camera:

Installed next to the door handle on the small barn door. Has a great view and with the angle set right, I can see the tow bar as well.

Bracket:
http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forums/images/imported/2011/08/128.jpg
Had to be narrowed to clear the switches, holes drilled for the locating pin and screws, and the top notched out to clear the clip holder.
(yes, my angle grinder skills are woeful and I can't cut straight, but it's hidden so nobody will see it!)

The stereo allows you to put MP3 files on a micro-SD card in the front of the stereo, or on a USB stick:
http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forums/images/imported/2011/08/129.jpg

There is also an iPod/iPhone lead, but we're a non-Apple household, so that's still sitting in the box.

The stereo also has dual-zone output so I can play a video or DVD to the rear headrests while listening to music and using the satnav in the front. Just need to find some headrest monitors in the right colour to match the leather interior.

If anyone wants any more details on the stereo, etc let me know.
