Wonnangatta

[2.8 patrol]

Can anyone give me some info on the best way to get to Wonnangatta. I was planning to go in march 2012 and will be in a 2.8 gu with st coopers and a 100 series landcruser with coopers ATR. Also info on what sort of time frame to get there and back. It will be my first 4wd trip so any sort of heads up on things to take or things to help prep my vehicle would also be appreciated..0.

hi mate
if your planning on going down zeka track
at present it was about 2hs to the bottom, a few of the switchbacks
where pretty cut up,but i think its getting an up grade this season
march is usually pretty warm in the valley so watch out for rigglers
and wasps .if your planning on staying in there take summer and winter
clothes,if your staying for a week pack enough tucker for two weeks
BUT REMEMBER ITS THE HIGH COUNTRY THE WEATHER CAN CHANGE
AT ANY TIME AND DOES SO FREQUENTLY
