This months topic was chosen by the April/May 21 winner Truckus

"Pubs, Pints, Pies/Pizza"

Pics could be internal or external, of the pub, and the pub could be city, regional, country or outback.
I assume the Pints, Pies and Pizza is being consumed in the pub, maybe Truckus could comment on this.

Yes after the surprise of winning the last one,I went through all the previous themes and tried to find one that had not been done, and a the same time everyone would have access to. I went for the three to for same first letter elements (like the last contest Wheels, wings and watercraft) so the theme wold not just be plain old pubs, and most pubs I know serve all the elements. The idea being if someone could get a great image with a few of the elements rather than just one or two.

So Pub would be mandatory (can be a Bar or a club as well)
Pints can be schooners, stubbies, cans or what ever your state equivalent but beer is preferred
and either Pies and/or Pizza.

Hopefully I have not made this too tricky.

Anyhow happy days either way drinking, wheeling, munching and snapping shots. These types would be all spot on having the essential pub element and two or three others

Some good starters so far, so I thought while taking Truckus Soot monster out for some more engine run in, we would see how we could go for capturing some snaps with all or a few of the elements.

Ok, Sunday, beautiful weather, Pubs still have covid Max number restrictions in place, and bored security guards....so what could go wrong.

First attempt..Patonga Hotel (The Boat House)

Ok, so not to be defeated, we backtracked and tried for Ocean Beach (packed full), Bayview and Old Pub at Woy Woy (same again), Ettalong Pub, you guessed it not a chance but finally Got a spot at Empire Bay Tavern across the river

Now...points for Pub, and bonus point for own rig in shot...but damn it...by the time we got there Pizza Bar closed SOLD OUT, and out of Pies! Only the exy wanker tucker left on the menus board.

Perhaps the Covid lockdowns prevented additional entries and interest as I know in Greater Sydney region we have been screwed sideways for months now, and the rest of the state is just starting to get the taste of what we have been living with for a while. Victorians too, but they done it all before as well.

Perhaps the topic was boring or shitty, but I apologies if it was, I though it would be a good one with plenty of fun elements to opt for, but I did not count on covid crisis and panic again. Maybe not everyone likes Pies, pizza or pubs when out wheeling and touring.:confused:
