sub tank touble

Hey all on my trip up north my sub tank switched failed and the sub tank lite is now on in the dash luckilly had two jerrys as well otherwise would have been stuck in the middle of no were i still have a full sub tank any way to fix this have checked the usuals all help would b appreciated

Normally the issue your describing can be caused by a bad earth, I would also start by checking all main earth cables, and even cleaning them all.. Check the earth on the chassis rails as well

yeah thanks guys had checked earth straps i have put another one on the body and chassis at the rear just.
Thanks for that thread link tony had done most of the suggestions on there but battery disconect will do that and see how it goes

Most problems are earth related.
