I personally ran 285/75/16 on my 2002 GU wagon on -22 offset rims with no problems

Welcome to the forum Aaron.
On standard rims they will fit but will more than likely rub on the front mudflaps when turning. Fitting radius arm spacers like these will help; http://www.superiorengineering.com.au/product_info.php?cPath=31_32_34_194&products_id=3874
