There is a lump in my throat, a tear in my eye.
It has been a year since our mate passed away.
The sun is shining on a brand new year,
And I am wishing he was still here.
To Jane and family, I want to say,
You're in my thoughts on this sad, sad day.

Thanks for that Kat. Haven't been able to get on the forum for a long time but I dropped in to see Bob and Lorraine today and they told me Kat had said something. I miss Craigie very much but I still have the Beastie and she is running great. He will be happy. Hope to catch up with you all soon. Pls let me know when there's a meetup. Thanks. Xxx Janeo

Rest in peace my good friend Roofy.
I miss you all the time mate and have a beer for you at every outback pub.
Actually had to double take the other day at Silverton when I thought I saw you out of the corner of my eye.

I believe today would have been roofys birthday, miss you old mate.
Coincidentally I have been working on a little something I promised a while back with the intention to hand deliver it to Jane over the weekend. It's just an arvos work but I think the end product will be good

Gap filler (no more skills) set in the mitre's last night, light sand and some furniture oil over the timber today.
Block mounted the photo and test fit. It's going to look just how it should. I'm happy with the end result.
After writing the above I put the photo in and some of the gaps opened up. Probably is I'm using 6mm MDF for the block mount and had planned on using 3mm. I still like it, it's a little rough around the edges but still has class and character just like Craig.

I don't know how to put photos here but I have hung this on the wall amongst my memorabilia of Craigie. His whip from his driving days , his spurs, canteen and of course his hat.
Thank you so very much Nic. It is perfect.
