I heard this tip a few years back but most my driving is on Teewah or Fraser so little rough low range work.
I just got back from some slow rough low range fun and implemented the cheapest easiest fix to the stupid electronic throttle problem with the 3L (manual) when in low range.
Shove a car wash sponge under the throttle and away you go. Easy peasy. Even the wife can drive her now.
On second thought I might have to lose the sponge so she doesn't want to drive!!!
Hope this helps out all you manual 3L guys.

Know the feeling mate. I jam my foot down the side of the pedal.

I may have to try your idea.

Thanks

I always keep a sponge in the Q just for that reason, have not had to use it yet but you never know.

Top idea - even more needed than ever with my reduction gears installed ... just have to touch the pedal and it launches (all of two feet at about 2 klms per hour!!! lmao) ...
