New HT18 turbo's from ebay

Just wondering if anyone has used any of the replacement turbochargers off ebay?They go for anywhere between $500 to $800. Not sure what the quality is like compared to the genuine turbo. There is nothing wrong with my turbo but was thinking of rebuilding it to be sure. Have been quoted over $1000

Is there another model turbo that I should look at if I was going to spend that sort of dollars? Or just rebuild and high-flow the HT18?

Have not had a Patrol Turbo, but I can personally vouch for Munro's Turbos/workmanship in general, for years i have used Glen and his stuff on my own Turbo Torana street car ,Brother in laws Turbo VW Beetle Drag Car (pictured @ bottom on projects page) and other personal friends cars.
