Toolangi (Victoria) meet up pics - 3rd to 5th June 2011

Had an absolute ball this weekend up at Toolangi and thanks to everyone who came along.

We had a great turn out of members...I think we ended up with 9 Patrols in total for the Saturday run.

Plenty of stories, pics and videos to come I'm sure...

Plenty of dad jokes from Plassy...lol

Weather was perfect, poured rain Friday night when we were asleep and Timbo has a story about his swag/tarp and the rain but apart from that the weather stayed perfect all weekend.

Bluey got bogged down, stuck on the housing (once again) and needed help and after watching Timbo just putt through the same track I have decided to join the crowd with the 35"s...lol...Makes life easier!

Nice river running behind sites, each campsite fenced off individually, which was not a real hit with campers but kept riffraff (smokers) seperated from upperclass (non-smokers) Pic2

I really enjoyed the christening of Katrol into what she was designed to do, and did fairly well, IMO.
Other than being so cold at night, ( one bag of ice lasted all w/end & was still froze last nite) it was a great time had by us both.. I even have photographic evidence of a cruiserman working on a Nissan !!
I think I am almost converted to this 4x4ing thing !!

UPDATE: My car stinks of wet carpet after this trip..lol...Not sure how it got in or where It's wet but I know the exact mud hole it came in from.

I should have gone last when all the water was pushed out of the hole...lol

For sure Roofy, I know of a few tracks that will be closed but thats the beauty of Toolangi....You can simply go along Marginal and pick whatever tracks are open, etc.
