Canning Stock Route Sept. 2017

After traversing the Old Gunbarrel Highway, the Son and I continued on to transit the CSR from south to north.

Conditions were excellent and we were treated to an amazing display of desert blooms, a sight that I would guess to be reasonably rare.

The vid is not a blog as such but more of a view of what remains of Canning's endeavours.

Thanks mate great pics it was so tempting to go that way but my fuel economy was so shit I didn't know for sure I'd get to the other end of the Tanami track , it's on the bucket list though .
