Hi all, first time posting + first time buying a patrol.

just thought id post the link of the car im going to purchase from ebay(and yes i have seen the car, taken it for a drive and had it checked by a nissan dealer) to see what you all think.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180664839108&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_500wt_1147

Also looking for a little advice on the pre purchase/comp test i had a nissan dealer do for me

Result of Compression test.
Cyl 1: 380
Cyl 2: 350
Cyl 3: 330
Cyl 4: 385

the guy from the dealership says thats all normal and the car is in top shape, but im still unsure and trying to be very thorough as ive brought a dud car before!!

any advice on the comp check would be greatly appreciated.

cheers

As said mate, bang up an intro when you get the chance - no harm done.

The rig looks great and with the low mileage, still has oodles of life in it - if you've had it inspected and all else appears good, I'd go for it.

One of the tech gurus will be along to comment on the compression test no doubt.

Welcome aboard champion!!!

Yeah car looks great in and out. Basically brand new. Just a bit concerned about the comp results. I've since found out the preferred range is like 360 psi to 460 psi.

I really don't know what to do haha

Yeah it's got the zd30 motor but some people say they fixed it on the series 3. Something about an extra line that pumps oil directly to the problem area. Can anyone confirm this?
