This month's topic was chosen by our December/January winner 4bye4

Signs
This could be famous, funny, and signs that state the obvious, like "no standing on the railway track".
I am sure everybody would have photos that are suitable for this topic and if not, it is not hard to take some new photos.

Remember to follow the rules shown in pink below.

Regards
TPC

Past winning photos can be viewed HERE (http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forums/showthread.php?29697-Photo-Comp-Past-Topics-amp-Winners&p=535534#post535534).

Monthly Photo Competition guidelines (Please read)

* Each month a new competition thread will commence & all forum members are invited to submit their photos .

* Maximum of three entries per person. (6 for Dec/Jan Photo Comp)

* Multiple entries should be made in separate posts

* Each entry should consist of a single photograph & a short description only

* Comments pertinent to entries are encouraged, but please do not use this thread to engage in banter

* Photos MUST have been taken by the member posting the photos or members of their party.

* Any photo which has been a winner will not be eligible for re-entry in any future competition.

* Please do not post photos that are not entries in the competition.

* Please do not re-post other folks entries within the thread

* The winner of the month's competition gets to choose the following month's competition topic.

* All members are encouraged to vote for the photos they think should win. This will be done by pressing the 'Thanks' button located underneath each post. Toward the end of the month the date & time of competition closure will be announced. Following this time the thread will be locked & the 'Thanks' counted to determine the winner.

* 'Thanks' may be added or withdrawn at any time during the month up until the competition is closed.
You are welcome to thank as many different posts as you wish!

* In the event of a tied first place I will add a casting vote, except in circumstances where my entry is one of the tied ones, in which case I will withdraw my entry.

*Inappropriate photos eg, sexual, racist, violent etc are unacceptable & should not be posted.

Thanks for your cooperation

Brother in law risked his life as a 12 year old to tear down this enamel sign that was placed on the textile mill my father in law worked at during WW11.
The country had been occupied and the mill was taken over to produce war supplies for the Nazi war effort. The workers were slave labour and he was so incensed that he snuck out a night and tore down several of these signs. Literally risking live and limb, the rest were thrown into the river but he kept this one as a souvenir.

Roughly translates to 'For the production of cloth for all members of the national socialist german workers party'

You do know you don't have to be the fastest as long as at least one person is slower than you.

Yeah my dad is way slower than me. I'd rather the croc take me than him. I was happy to be the bait.
