Camping at Wyangala Dam NSW

Just got back from camping at Wyangala Dam NSW for a few days between Christmas & New Year. Great family ( and dog ) friendly park with non-powered sites all along the lake's edge. Boating, fishing, water sports, etc , and good park facilities, makes for a great camping holiday. There are also some challenging 4wd tracks, very steep climbs with stunning views. It's about 20klms of good dirt road into the park for those towing expensive boats, and if arriving at night, care should be taken as there are unfenced padlocks with roos, cattle, cows, and goats running loose. Make sure you take everything you need with you as the park shop is very expensive. Camp fires are permitted in winter but not summer, due to total fire bans.

A great place to stress-less and have a great family camping experience.
