This month's topic was chosen by our November winner AB

Flood/Submerge
This could be flooding of vehicles, buildings, roads, campsites etc. Pretty much excessive water where it is not normally.

As this photo comp is over 2 months 6 entries are allowed.

Remember to follow the rules shown in pink below.

Regards
TPC

After Cyclone Debbie we were flooded in for a few days. If it floods we are stuck on our own island as we are surrounded by a river and adjoining creek which cuts us off from getting out.
This pic is of some residents trying to rescue this cow that swam down the river during the flood

Mitchell River crossing on the New Dixie Rd just north of Dunbar Station. The photo does not do it justice as it was over knee deep and flowing fast in early August so it would have bee rather impressive earlier in wet season.

This would be one of the scariest crossings I've seen it's on the Daly river and called the Oolloo crossing ,someone had been through it but flood damage in a few spots make depth about one metre if you drive too close to the downstream side .
Fair strength current flowing as well .74198

Outback travel tip #42

Mounds of dirt on the side of a Station Track can be either Grader Blade Berms or Excavator Bucket Dumps.

Your Outback Adventure is much more enjoyable if you can tell the difference.

It’s fresh water, we have a creek that floods easily and a river that comes up 20 meters high and surrounds us http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forums/images/imported/2018/01/202.jpg
That’s the river 20 meters higher than normal
