TPC

I have just returned from a 11 day work trip through Northern SA.
Most of the time was driving but stopped often to look around and take photos.
Day 1 started late and drove to Whyalla.
Day 2 I traveled through the Flinders Ranges, then up to Marree.
Day 3 I drove from Marree to Marla along the Oodnadatta Track.
Days 4 & 5 were through the APY lands and visited Surveyor Generals Corner (corner of SA, WA and NT).
Day 7 down to Port Augusta.
Days 8 to 11 were spent visiting about 40 towns through mid and lower north SA.
I traveled over 5000KM with over 2000KM being on dirt and the only issue I had was a windscreen cracked in two places.

Absolutely loved this trip and wish I could do this for work all the time.

Yea, I have been through and stayed in Brachina Gorge a few times but this was my first time through Parachilna Gorge and it is great.
I wish I spent more time looking around and taking photos in there but will go back some time and dtay in there.

SA is top of my list for amazing touring! Love the place, even though locals are slightly weird :)

Lucky Bastard!!! Surveyors General Corner is on my list and the only corner i have not done. Shame someone felt the need to remark it with Black texta.......

Did you have business ANYWHERE near it or just a slight detour on the fuel card..

Nice one TPC,
I've been fortunate enough to travel all over remote SA for the contractor I work for including the APY lands and Moomba gas fields which are both restricted access areas and not for public access.

There's some amazing country out there, some real top spots that photo's just don't do justice! Its a shame that so much of its locked up but glad you were able to enjoy some of it!

Cheers,
Westie
