Waeco CFX50 on single battery. Please help.

Going away for one night and haven't had time to set up the battery box I'm planning on using for camping and auxiliary stuff.

I know it's a stupid question, but if I have my key to accessories and have the fm and all lights off. Will the battery last for the night if the waeco is the only thing plugged up.

It'd the new CFX50 and runs super efficient.

Very tough question BM mate!
Many things to consider first:
Are your fridge goods pre-chilled/frozen?
What's your expected overnight ambient/outside temps?
How many mods/wires do you have running around the truck etc..?
I'm terrible at elecy stuff but slowly learning too it all matters mate :-)

You'll be fine for the night even with a small LED light for camping.

If you live in Melbourne your fridge would barely even turn on throughout the night this week!!!

Run the fridge for a day or two on 240v at home before you leave and if you're paranoid throw a couple of those plastic ice blocks in, it'll be fine.

I've run my old Engel for a night off a starter and the battery next morning was fine to my surprise. Would definatly err on the side of caution if solo and remote tho. As MB said can be many variables. . . Can crank it up before you switch the car off then turn it off or real low before bed should be right. . .

Thanks for the quick replies guys. Absolutely appreciate it.

Its still pretty cold here through the night (heading to Karuah River), and I'll only be in and out a few times for beers and meat (can't be bothered with ice for 1 night and I want to use the fridge as I bought it for a reason.

As for wiring... There isn't anything new on it other than FM since my dad bought it brand spankers in 89 when I was 4.

I'll be with a mate so he can jump me of need be. I'll be buying an ACE box and deep cell for camping and manoeuvrability but it's currently running a N70

I think all Waeco fridges have a low voltage cutoff setting. This basically turns the fridge off when it senses that voltage. Just set the low voltage cutoff at the highest setting and then you won't have it run your battery flat.

For sure mate, 3 x settings in fact + an override switch for organs :-(
