Hey guys,
Nearly time for the next instalment for the GUIV. Keen on an upgrade to the intercooler and looking at the Cross Country Ultimate and the HPD kit.

Both seem like about teh same price with the HPD a little cheaper. Does anyone have the HPD Kit? The CC looks Sexy as Hell and i really like the bonnet scoop of the CC Range, not sure if the HPD scoop is the same brand?
I like the 14' fan under the HPD with the auto temp sensor.
Tell me why i should buy one over the other??

I went the CC Ultimate on UFI's recommendation, wasn't aware of the HPD one at the time. The HPD does look smaller than the CC ultimate although could just be the photo, I won't really know more until I upgrade the rest of my setup

Neither. Get the 600mm Front mount kit HPD offer.

yeah cheers Matty, i really like the simplicity of the install on the Top Mount and the bigger scoop looks sick. Not sure how keen i am to cut through the radiator support although the pics i have from you have been awesome. Have you got a link to the front mount you would use?

Go the front mount as Mat has suggested and also get the scoop. Win win. Better performance and with the look too. I actually like the look of the V8 Cruiser scoop ( I think it is) on the Patrols over the Fairline Fibreglass scoop.

Still waiting for specific GU under bonnet pressure results from rainsey across in the 'Chev' thread. He kindly on behalf for all bought a 'Manometer' to approve/disprove some theories on scoops, TM iC's/FMiC's etc... Blokes been super busy so no pressure, pardon the pun, Graham :-) Here's his Manometer:http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forums/images/imported/2017/05/255.jpghttp://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forums/images/imported/2017/05/256.jpg Here's the charts awaiting his return and testing: http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forums/images/imported/2017/05/257.jpghttp://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forums/images/imported/2017/05/258.jpghttp://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forums/images/imported/2017/05/259.jpg Scoops, holes in bonnets can either work great or really bad ;-)

Thanks to rainsey for going the extra mile.
I now avidly await his results to see if I've wasted all that coin on the CC top mount that's still in the box 2 years after purchase...

You spelt his username wrong John so he might not see it but comparing mine to the work Gq td42 there is little difference.
There might be a slight difference on my front mount but not bad.
