Hi my name's Mark and I'm an alcho, (oh crap wrong place :) ) been a member for a while but not posted .
Apologies if not quite right.
No clue really how to do much more than read others posts.

I have a 2000 GU that recently swapped a pretty decent 3.0lt auto for a 2006 TD42Ti manual.
I have now found that I have now timing advance control because it isn't even connected?
I am missing the ambient temp sensor and maybe part of the loom that it and the pump connect to.
Have to get under the bus and have a good look at the loom to be sure.
Have no confidence taking it back to the people that did the conversion, nothing good to say so I'll say nothing about them.
I'm guessing that I'm no pioneer with this problem, sadly.
Loom was spliced by Brunswick's and Greg assures me the loom is correct, yet to confirm.
Is there anyone in Adelaide who won't rob me that knows what they're doing with these things.
Will download manual when I have done more posts.

Any assistance welcomed.
Regards,
Mark

Sorry can't help with your issue but you don't need 25 posts for the manual download, so go for gold.

Good luck, hope some will be along to help soon
