2. Maitenance/Mechanical issues/questions.
3. Bragging rights/Showing off.
4. New to 4WD scene seeking knowledge.
5. Wanting opinions on what to buy/stay clear of.
6. Sourcing cars/parts.
7. Free downloads.
8. Links/Shopping.
Would be interesting to know. I first joined for the workshop manual download because I was having issues but have found that I am getting so much more from the forum.

QUESTION
Apart from using your patrol as a regular passenger vehicle, what do you consider the next primary purpose?

ANSWERS
1. Towing (boat, Trailor, Caravan etc.)
2. Accessing work due to road conditions (IE. Farm use/mining)
3. Camping (out bush)
4. Having some fun off road (For the thrill)
5. To be safe on road (due to size on road)
6. Having a lot more space in the vehicle/ Ride height
7. The fact that four wheel drive can take you places others can't go.
8. To impress your mates.
9. As a solid family car.
10. To help out a bogged mate every weekend...

Q.. What type of rims do you use

A1... Steel and i wouldn't go any different
A2... Steel but i wish i had alloy (or am going to go alloy)
A3... Alloy but i wish i had steel (or am going to go steel)
A4... Alloy and i love them..(aint changing)
A5... Am lucky to have both and depends on the type of driving i do!

G'Day AB!
I think the name of my poll was mistake. Everybody knows that RD28 is not the best engine in Nissan's history and I think it is not very common engine in AU, so please rename the pool to "What kind of oil do you use in yours high mileage Diesel Engines?"
