Cuppa
30th January 2017, 11:11 PM
This month’s topic, chosen by our Dec/Jan Winner TPC is

Creepy Crawlies - Tony wrote "This can be any little crawling creatures like insects, spiders, worms etc. Anybody that doesn't have a photo already should be able to go into their back yard and take one".

We are back to max of 3 entries each this month, but as Tony suggests it should be a nice easy one for everyone.... so lets see plenty of entries. New forum members very welcome to enter.

regards
Cuppa

Ps. Please read though the pink bit below if you haven’t done so yet. Ta.

Pps. It always helps to post a brief explanatory caption with your entry.

Regards
Cuppa

What do you think TPC ? Does it fit with your intent?

I don't have a problem with it, was hoping you would make the decision boss.
I had forgotten we did have a similar topic last year with bugs so broadening the criteria is probably a good idea.

I do have a few others if you don't think this fits the brief. I won't be too hurt if you remove it. :

I heard NASA were or are trying to duplicate the web of the Orb spider ,
apparently one of the strongest natural things going around.
Can remember shooting rabbits from the back of a ute up Mildura way
we would have cuts to our cheeks from the web they are that strong

Thanks MB (& Clunk :) ) . I have now counted things up & we have a clear winner.
Thanks also to last month’s winner TPC for his choice of topic.

Congratulations go to VK2FMIA who received 17 votes for his close up of what I believe to be the head of a praying mantis(?)

http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forums/images/imported/2017/03/15.jpg

In 2nd place was the creepiest of all - a rare pic of the genus mudrunneris entered by the boss, AB, for which he received 13 votes.

http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forums/images/imported/2017/03/16.jpg

In joint 3rd place, each with 12 votes were Clubbyr8 with a knockout close up of a spider , & VK2FMIA with another close up, this time of a Yellow headed sap sucker.
