I've got a similar setup on my roof, however with absolutely none of the luxuries on this! Seen this in the flesh too and it is a great bit of gear. Get on it if you camp regularly and want a fantastic sleeper/trailer combo.

Wish I needed one. Like others I’ve seen this camper in the flesh & reckon it’s every bit as good as the others say it is. Whoever buys it at that asking price will get themselves a bargain they won’t regret shelling out for. Shame you need to sell it John.

Got to do what you have to do, if/when it sells Ill have a tear in my eye thats for sure

when I was building the trailer it was suppose to feature in one of the 4x4 mags.
then another mag knew I was making one some how but its never featured, even
though its dent free. It is a one of a kind you will never see another,

Very nice looking camper, TD. I am curious as to whether you can fit Patrol rims to it. Maybe a another selling point.

get it up on Gumtree and fleabay, put the links up on here, that way I'm sure someone who's on all these different facebook pages wouldn't mind copying the links to the various places.

what's the distance between the wheel tubs?

threedogs

what's the distance between the wheel tubs?

120cm and 1500mm inside if you fitted say a false floor
Oodles of room length wise over 2mtrs.
I never did as it had to carry plenty of gear for 3 ppl
bedding and chairs for 3 tents etc for 2
fishing rods and bags x 3
cooking gear, tables , 16 x 24 tarp plus poles,, peg bag
front ice box holds 96 cans plus ice.
Has plenty more potential IMHO, like an external boat rack frame
We did not want for anything at camp, if we did we made or brought it for next time
It was a work in progress lol

@ $3800 thats less than what it cost me, even though I got a great deal on
most of the gear used, not including labour.
The Ice box on the draw bar cost me $395 back in '92

I hate to hail on your parade Bob. But thought I'd mention that possibly half, and probably more, of those visits are by bots or auto searching lucrative systems set to scan auctions for possible phone numbers or emails, in order to send you potential scams.
Visit counter means jack s#it.

Probably true but still half are lookers.

Have used Gumtree quite successfully in the Past and so far no scammers.

would be the talk of the building site IMO

I reckon you get more bites if you actually finished it and put in a false floor. It would then truly be a dual birth camper..... 120mm width isnt a great deal of room to sleep in, unless you like to sleep in the spoon position, but that's just my humble opinion

Like I mentioned it was a work in progress, but as it is,, it suited
our needs the way it was. Future plans were to tow it on a big lap
but slowly those dreams are fading.

Well in that case maybe the ad should also mention that it it's a "work in process"

Good luck
