Hi guys.

Been a long time.
I've finally decided it's time to get another patrol.
Going to be a y62 this time.

Can someone please tell me the differences between a series 2 & 3 in both models.
I can't find anything other then a .1 l/100k improvement in fuel. What is this from?

Thanks.

I don't think there is much difference between them motor wise.
I'm not sure is the most recent model has had an engine change or not.
Series one does have an odd center console layout due to them being build mainly for left hand drive.
But the later models it all looks quite normal now.

Yer nor even considering a series 1 because of that console.

Normally when there Is a new series there are some changes.
But can't find them.
Even my local dealer didn't know.

It appears the S3 will have an option for a Tan colour interior or black, the engine recieves Euro5 compliance and more anti pollution gear and they are limiting the colour said to black, white, silver and a metallic grey.

Thanks MudRunner.

If thats all it is I think I'll start looking for a series 2 ti-l. Instead of a brand new series 3 ti.

Is the old one a 5 speed auto and the new a 7 speed?

The new TI has HBMC suspension and Sat Nav. These were only on the earlier TI L.

It's like Hondas V-Tec.
Nissan Variable Valve Event and Lift (commonly abbreviated as "VVEL") is an automobile (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Automobile) variable valve timing (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Variable_valve_timing) technology developed by Nissan (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan).
