I came across this the other day and thought I'd share.

From the Parks and Wildlife site:
http://www.parks.tas.gov.au/?base=42857

Entry to all national parks will be FREE on:

27 - 29 August (our centenary weekend)
24 September – 9 October (Tasmanian school holiday period)

This means you will not be required to have a valid national parks pass when visiting any of the 19 national parks during the free entry period.

So why not celebrate 100 years of national parks in Tasmania and reconnect with nature!

If you have any queries please contact 1300 TASPARKS (1300 827 727) or email parkfees@parks.tas.gov.au

One day I'll get back down there. Tasmania is a beautiful country.

I'm headed down next weekend for the grandparents 60th wedding anniversary, but no patrol unfortunately

Plenty to see without locking the hubs in.
Where abouts will you be?
