Fitting my own snorkel.
Any particular type of silicone to use?

And how tight are the seals on the top of the airbox and the pipe joins between airbox and turbo - should i sticky these up too?

Thanks...

Sikaflex 227 Adhesive sealant is sensor safe. It sticks like sh1t on a blanket too. I would also suggest using a black silicone along the top edge of the snorkel where it sits up against the wing. Or get a strip of the seal that is used in around the edges of the trim on the DX model mudguards. Also use rivnuts for the upper mounting bracket instead of plastic inserts with self tappers. I would suggest potentially putting some extra sealant around the top of the airbox. After having to move the airbox over on my one the lid doesn't seem to sit flat anymore.

These are Rivnuts if you're not familiar with the term ,some call them Nutserts as well.
Handy bit of kit to have as makes mounting or fitting items so much neater.
