Hi what is the maximum laden trailer weight that a gq y60 can draw

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong and I probably am but I think unbraked is 750Kg and braked is 2500Kg, not sure what the vertival load limit on the tow ball is though.

ive had 4500 kg in the back of mine bit heavy but no pulling dramas just verry hard to slow long braking period

That depends on the towbar fitted. Unbraked towing capacity will be 750kg, braked towing capacity will be shown on the towbar placard attached to the towbar. Towball down weight is usuall 10% of the towing capacity eg, 750kg towing capacity will equal 75kg towball down weight.

also if patrol is auto or manual for max tow weight 2500kg for auto 3500kg manual
just to be sure check it out in the manule book under towing

According to the w/shop manual 750kg unbraked & 2500kg braked. But December 92 on it says 2800kg braked for the manual & 2500kg braked for all other models & 750kg unbraked. Not sure why dec 92 on can tow 300kg more?

Bigger brakes maybe?
