35's on GQ 2.8td

Hey all,

A friend of mine has a set of 35's about 60% tread he said i can have for free, just chasing some thoughts on whether or not they will work ok on my car PS. I have a 2 inch lift

What offset rims? What width tyre? Unless they are 10.5" wide tyres (simex et, silverstone mt-117 extreme) and on negative offset rims they will scrub pretty bad if you haven’t cut/massaged your guards? If you are all for taking some of the guards out you can make anything fit with a grinder. But if you’re not, I would pass on his offer or take them and sell them to buy some 33"s. Or you could lift it all the way up in the sky and not flex it up. Another option is to body lift, but imho it’s not worth doing that to only gain an extra 1" of diff clearance.

hmmmmmm not afraid to get the grinder out but i am very new to 4x4's so ill get some more info before i go to the effort of trying to put em on

Well got the 35's on BY HAND mind you (loads of fun) they fit and do not scrub at all much to my amazment

They wont scrub just driving along on the road, BUT they will scrub at full flex/articulation on your mud flaps flares and on the insdie of the guards. Its fine if you don't care though. Only you will be able to tell how much they do/don't fit.

nice pic mate question how wide r the 35 u put under ur rig mate cause im thinking of doin same thing i got lwb 2.8tb with 5inch lift but worried my car wont get up and go as well. how did she go up hills?????????
