can get some idea how a rear tow bar is fitted to the gq... where is it bolted to the chassi

also chasis rails have bolt holes in them for your towbar

If you are fitting a second hand tow bar & don't have the original rectangle nuts then most likely need to cut some 3mm flat bar up & drill the correct size hole in it. these spread the weight over the are on the chassis where the bolts go thru. also it's easiest to weld a bit of thin rod to the plate & you'll have to do the same to the nut or weld it to the flat bar so you can reach up inside the chassis rail.
