Figure this is the best place to ask this.
Firstly I've just built a new deck for me ute now I'm a little stuck with the head board or more so how/what to fill it with:confused: it will end up with 75mm roll bar for main outer frame and am think a 50mm set in to window width both following cab profile this is were the confusion starts !
Do I do the norm and use a flat panel about 300 high and a couple of bars to stop s#$% hitting window, BORING!, custom would be better.
So throw some thoughts my way please people, only condition is need to use rearview mirror due to constantly knocking side ones:driving2::oops:

Ok, I'll start...

What about 20 x 20 SHS or 20 RHS (naughts and cross style) possibly even more crosses. Would be a fun job cutting and welding but would look tough and can still see out.

Not sure how the square would look with the round rolled bar though?

Spray it up the same colour as the bar, etc

Pics? Up north here one custom tray mob (Kt's) do one with a small triangular window in the middle and the rest normal weldmesh. The triangle as the top point cut off and made flat 1/3 of the way down and it has a welded round steel frame. Never seen anyone else do it, but all the local boys like it.
