I will get this kick started.
This is The Green Man Inn at Ashborne SA.
It started off as a general store and post office but was converted into a much more important facility in the early 1900's when it became a pub.
The photo shows a couple of land-rovers belonging to a couple of mates parked out the front when we did a overnighter down at Langhorne Creek just after Christmas.

So....just a quick clarifying question re the topic. Do ruins count as buildings? What is the intent?

TPC

Come on guys, lets keep this a happy thread.
I did have intact buildings in mind when I chose the topic but if the ruins have some significant history I think they would fit in.

Magpie and Stump Hotel was built in 1850 / 1851 at Mintaro SA. The former Bakers shop is incorporated as part of the dining room of the hotel. It still has the original wood-fired oven apparently.

Post and Telegragh Office, Fowlers Bay. The post office was erected in 1875 and the extensions were made to the building for the telegraph facility when the completion of the east to west line in 1877. Postal records go back to May of 1865 when the unofficial post office was opened.

This is one of many spectacular buildings in Sydney University, I believe it houses the Great Hall, the Nicholson Museum and the University Art Gallery.
I think it was built in the 1800's.
I have been walking past it every day to visit my son in the RPA which is in the University boundary.
