I've been thinking about purchasing a service / repair manual for the patrol to help with DIY maintenance and projects.

Does anyone have a Gregory's or other similar brand manuals? Are they worth the money in comparison to the manuals already available to members?

I have the very same one mate. And from the few things I looked up in it, it is pretty detailed .
My one arrived in the back of the 3L when I bought it.

I've got the Haynes one. And use it more than the forum one. Not sure about value for money, but for me it's easier to grab the book out on the spot and look up what you need.

Thanks for the feedback guys .

Looks like It's defiantly a worthwhile addition to get

It's hard to know which of the various brand Serivce manuals would be best though... they're always wrapped up in store so you can't have a look through them so see how they're set up, level of detailed information, pretty pictures etc

As Kat said. It is very handy going through pages of a physical book. Rather then clicking through pdf files
However I failed to mention the manual off the forum sometimes has much better breakout pictures and explanations. ..

I have a Gregory's from my Ford Maverick days and got the Max Ellery for my GU. I prefer the Gregory's and still cross reference it with the Max Ellery when working on the GU.
If that helps you.
